Improve at the Yucca
The laughter inducing show is completely made up, on the fly, right onstage. Who knows what will happen? The only thing that is gauranteed is that you will laugh till you cry.

February
Permian Basin Home & Garden Show features the areas top home builders, remodelers, landscaping professionals, and related industries all underneath one roof. Industry professionals will be on hand to show the public how to enhance, beautify, and upgrade their homes and gardens.

March
Annual Scottish-Irish Faire
Always the 2nd weekend in March held at the Midland County Horseshoe Arena Complex. Weekend activities include Celtic music, Scottish & Irish dancers, Scottish Clans, geneology seminars, bagpippers & drummers workshop, and all types of Celtic jewelry, clothing, crafts and more for all ages.

June-August
Summer Concert Series
Enjoy Sunday evening concerts on the lush Museum of the Southwest grounds. Bring a picnic and spend an hour entertained by the best local jazz, pop, country and folk music groups.

Summer MuMmers
Catch a production chocked full of mayhem and hilarity performed at the historic Yucca Theater in downtown Midland. Melodrama is a unique theatrical experience invented in America and no one does it quite like Summer MuMmers, the oldest existing theatrical organization of its kind in the country. Bring your friends, bash the villain with popcorn and enjoy side-splitting laughter during the olio. June–Labor Day.

Rock the Desert
This annual multi-day festival attracts over fifty thousand Christian music fans. Friday nights feature praise and worship, Saturday has inspirational rock and roll. Also featured; skateboarding, sports tents, family speakers, youth leader training extreme games,

Septemberfest
Crowds from far and wide visit Midland the first weekend of September for a weekend of arts, crafts, music, live performances, food and games. Held on the grounds of the Museum of the Southwest.

Dies y Seis de Septiembre Parade
Cultural events commemorating Mexico’s independence from Spain. This event contains music and family fun.

St. Ann’s Family Fair
Rides, rides, rides. Annual church fair also features craft booths and great food.

Western National Bank Golf Classic - a PGA Nationwide Tour Event
This is the only PGA-sponsored golf tournament in Texas.

Commemorative Air Force AIRSHO
Stirring re-enactments of World War II air battles, including the Battle of Pearl Harbor, and special entertainment every year.

Permian Basin International Oil Show
The world's largest trade show dedicated to oil and gas technology, this biennial exposition at Ector County Coliseum is conducted in even-numbered years.

Christmas at the Mansion

City of Midland Christmas Night Lights Christmas Parade
Celebrate the holiday season at this nigh-time parade followed by the tree lighting, caroling, and a movie - all at the renovated Centennial Plaza!

The Nutcracker Ballet
Enjoy this beautiful Christmas classic presented by the Midland Festival Ballet. The program takes place at the Lee High School auditorium and features the Midland-Midland Symphony & Chorale.
